Marathon Magic 11:
Fusing the biomechanics of comfort, balance and agility into lightweight simplicity, the Marathon Magics are winning races. These are the maestros of body movement, pack stability, and instant gear access - superb for adventure racers, skaters, cyclists, runners, and fast walkers.
The patented Omni and U Flow systems allow the pack to hug your body under extreme movement. For cycling, the flexible frame will bend with your back curves as your reach for the handlebars and will prevent "round out" when you stuff the pack full. The height of the shoulder straps can be adjusted to fit a large range of back lengths. The Matrix Mesh harness keeps you cooler under maximum exertion. Now with stronger fabrics and a redesigned conus clip.
- MM 11 has mesh pockets on the hipbelt for small items
These models are exceptional performers with or without Balance Pockets.

Great for fly fishing:
"The movement aspect of the Marathon Magic is what really appealed to me. I tried one on in the shop and loved it. Got some weird stares as I was "practice casting", but it fits like a glove when I do the required movements, even when fully loaded. It's the only truly active pack I've found.

I'm back from my trip to Peru to hike the Inca Trail. The Marathon Magic was great! Much of the hike consisted of steep uneven ancient stairs and rocks either up or down, and the pack clung like a leech and never threw me off balance. It gave me complete freedom of movement in the shoulders. It was also great to have camera (once I figured out how to stow it), food, water, and binoculars within easy reach up front.
